CREATE-SUBMIT-CELEBRATE GOALS ANTHOLOGY AUTHORS
RUTH VAN ALSTINE
Before the goals project, I wasn’t writing consistently and didn’t submit work to publishers regularly. Because of it I’m submitting work regularly, getting published, and won several awards in contests this past year. I love the challenge, of setting goals for myself and it motivates me when I see others work towards and meet their own goals! — Ruth Van Alstine
SALLY WAHL CONSTAIN
The goals program has been an inspiring experience for me. I enjoyed being part of a team effort to get our writing out there. It pushed me to submit my poems to a variety of publications, and even to enter (and win two) poems to the annual contests sponsored by the Florida State Poets Association. Thanks to the goals program, I can now consider myself an 'award winning' poet. — Sally Wahl Constain
PAT KRAUSE
Participating in the Goals Project has motivated me to write on a more consistent basis. I even entered several poetry contests and received an honorable mention for one of my favorite nature poems. As a result, I’ve gained confidence in my ability to create poems that others can enjoy. — Pat Krause
CYNTHIA BUTLER-JACKSON
The Create-Submit-Celebrate goals program has challenged me as a purpose-driven writer to stay the course and continue writing so that I too might receive the healing that comes with writing. I thought writing would be the panacea to all; that is until I started submitting my writings and they were published. I'm so elated to have joined the goals project. Thanks, Ruth & North Florida Poetry Hub! — Cynthia Butler Jackson
PAULA VELOSO BABADI
I love the accountability aspect of Create-Submit-Celebrate. Knowing I'll have to report progress on my goal each month keeps me from procrastinating. Because of this program, I regularly submit poetry and essays for publication and it's a great feeling to see results and share my words. — Paula Veloso Babadi
