FIRST COAST POETRY SHOWCASE
On March 25, 2023 the poetry/writing groups North Florida Poetry Hub, A Gathering of Poets and Women Writing For (a) Change will be at the Southeast Regional Branch Library in Jacksonville to celebrate and share poetry along with presenting awards to local winners of the “First Coast Young Voices” 2023 high school poetry contest.
Promising to be a unique and pleasant way to pass a Saturday afternoon, the event is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with our North Florida Poetry Hub authors reading from their Create-Submit-Celebrate Anthology, followed by author’s book signings.
A Gathering of Poets and Women Writing for (a) Change members will also do readings from a selection of their writings, as will the winners of the high school poetry contest.
There will be a wonderful selection of poetry books, zines and traditional books, and writing Journals. Refreshments will be served. Come join us!
CREATE-SUBMIT-CELEBRATE GOALS ANTHOLOGY AUTHORS

Before the goals project, I wasn’t writing consistently and didn’t submit work to publishers regularly. Because of it I’m submitting work regularly, getting published, and won several awards in contests this past year.
